Can we get more of these stories please?

According to USAToday, “A Domino’s driver was left in tears when an Ohio church congregation tipped her more than $1,000 after she delivered a $5.99 pizza.

The sobbing started after the driver, who identified herself as Natasha in a video of the Oct. 4 surprise, brought the pie to the Sycamore Creek Church in Pickerington, a suburb southeast of Columbus, and Rev. Steve Markle asked her to go to the front of the sanctuary.”

It turned out that church members had collected $1,046 to present to the driver.

The church had wrapped up a sermon series on “I was Broke. Now I’m Not” and had a monthly missions emphasis on “Random Acts of Kindness.”

Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35

While drowning in a materialistic culture, one of the best things the church can do is champion extravagant generosity. It was one the first sign of the authenticity in the New Testament church. And it can be (should be) again.

God is a giver.

We have been known as takers.

It’s time to return to the original design. Demand it of yourself and become a radical giver. Once you acquire the taste, it will be like pizza to your soul. #Chesse
